Kufferath modules form the interface between the test piece and the testing setup. They are available individually and can be integrated not only into Kufferath test benches but also into existing systems from other manufacturers.

TESTCASE COVERAGE

Modules are designed to inspect components according to precise test criteria, covering electrical, mechanical, functional, and visual inspection requirements:

• Function, seating, and interlocking checks
• Assembly and connector verification
• Leak, pressure, and vacuum testing
• Continuity and defect detection
• Pull tests and visual inspection

We also custom-engineer special modules for your use case, ensuring tailored solutions for even the most demanding testing requirements.

UPGRADE OPTIONS

Mechanical modules can be enhanced with pneumatic and moving-block components to improve test quality and process stability. These mechanisms reduce insertion forces, improve locking conditions and minimize operator influence. Upgrades are available for most test cases and are applied where increased reliability is required.

While upgrades are often chosen to achieve higher performance and process robustness, they can also be a technical requirement. Certain test cases, such as pressure tests, mandate the use of pneumatic mechanisms.

Macro Module Configurations

For complex test cases or specific customer requirements, multiple modules can be combined into one macro module. This integrated approach ensures all mechanical, electrical, and functional checks are performed in a single, streamlined process.

Custom formats can also be supplied to fit specific requirements, making our modules suitable for integration into both Kufferath test systems and third-party test benches.

RESULTS & RELIABILITY

After a successful test, the test piece is released either automatically or via manual confirmation. Test results are issued as a printout, for example as a label, and are stored for documentation purposes. This ensures traceable, consistent and reproducible documentation of all test results over the entire product lifecycle.
